Freestyle Motocross Star Dies

Freestyle Extreme Motocrosser Jeremy Lusk of Temecula,Ca. Died On Saturday, Feb. 7th in Costa Rica.

Jeremy sustained extreme brain damage and possible spinal cord injury when he under-rotated a backflip.

Jeremy was taken to the intensive care unit at Calderon Hospital and survived the inital surgery late sat. night and was placed in a medicine induced coma but got worse and went into cardiac and respiratory faliure.

He died with his wife Lauren,his parents and friends by his side at approx. 11:30pm PST

Lusk 2008 season included X-games Freestyle Gold Medal & Best Trick Silver Medal.

He landed the first ever double grab Hart Attack backflip.

He also won both Freestyle & Best Trick Gold  at The X-Games Mexico. Was also 3rd overall in 08 Dew Tour, & earned a Bronze Helmet at the Moto X World Championships.
